Dognosis Selected for Nasscom Emerge 50, Class of 2026

Dognosis has been selected for Nasscom's Emerge 50, Class of 2026, in the Healthtech and Biosciences track. Winners were felicitated in person at Nasscom Future Forge on 6th and 7th August in Bangalore, the flagship gathering for India's deeptech ecosystem.

Now in its sixteenth year, Emerge 50 is Nasscom's recognition programme for India's deeptech startups. Applicants are evaluated on the strength of their scientific foundation, depth of R&D, potential impact and scalability, and the clarity of their path to market. Startups go through an evaluation and shortlisting round before a jury round, where each finalist presents directly to a panel of investors and industry leaders.

" We feel honored that Dognosis is being recognized alongside some truly great deep tech companies at Nasscom," said Itamar Bitan, co-founder of Dognosis.

Dognosis works with trained dogs to convert canine scent detection into a scalable, breath-based cancer screening test. The dogs' detection signals are decoded by DogSense, the company's canine brain-computer interface, and DogOS, the machine learning layer that turns that signal into a structured result. The company's Phase 2 study, published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology earlier this year, was the largest peer-reviewed evaluation of canine cancer detection to date.

The recognition comes as Dognosis opens its waitlist ahead of launch, the next step in getting BreathEasy from the lab to people.
