Dognosis Selected for Inaugural Accel Atoms X Cohort, Backed by Accel India and Prosus

Dognosis, the deep-tech company digitizing and scaling canine olfactory intelligence for healthcare, has been selected for the inaugural Accel Atoms X cohort, a LeapTech programme backed by Accel India and Prosus that supports mission-driven founders building at the intersection of science and engineering.

Atoms X is Accel's most selective early-stage track, backing six companies in its inaugural cohort. The programme combines Accel's global network with Prosus's expertise in scaling technology across emerging markets, providing capital, mentorship, and long-term company-building support.

Dogs have detected cancer and other diseases in over 50 peer-reviewed studies across 28+ conditions, consistently outperforming the machines built to replace them. The bottleneck was never the dog. It was the human-canine interface: a handler watching a dog sit or bark, then making a subjective call. Dognosis trained AI to read dogs directly, decoding brain waves and body language through a patented brain-computer interface and multi-modal sensing platform. The result is BreathEasy, a non-invasive multi-cancer screening test that brings the diagnostic power of a full-body scan to a five-minute breath sample, collected anywhere from a screening camp to a patient's home.

"For 11,000 years we have had access to superhuman olfactory intelligence, constrained by a primitive interface. Dognosis is building the bridge between what dogs can perceive and what medicine can act on. The backing of Accel and Prosus through Atoms X is a signal that the world is ready for this leap," said Akash Kulgod, Co-Founder and CEO, Dognosis.

With 10+ active hospital pilots across India and technology validated with the Government of Singapore, Dognosis is turning the world's most sensitive biological detection system into a new paradigm for how humanity detects disease.
